Custom mirrors in Dallas are available in any size, from small vanity mirrors to full-wall installations — fabricated to your exact dimensions from standard 1/4-inch silvered glass, with edge profile options including flat polish, beveled, and polished pencil. Infinity Glass & Glazing fabricates custom mirrors in-house at our Corinth shop and installs throughout Dallas, Fort Worth, and the DFW metroplex.

Stock mirrors come in three sizes. Your bathroom, living room, or gym comes in one specific size — yours. That mismatch is the reason custom mirror fabrication exists.

Whether you need a bathroom vanity mirror that fits perfectly between two light fixtures, a gym wall mirror that covers an entire wall, a statement decorative mirror with beveled edges, or a large frameless mirror for a dining room, custom fabrication delivers exactly what you need with no compromises on dimensions.

Why Dallas Homeowners Choose Custom-Cut Mirrors Over Stock Sizes

Custom mirrors eliminate the compromise of fitting your space around a stock size. In a 48-inch vanity with two light fixtures mounted 52 inches apart, a stock 30x36 mirror leaves 11 inches of tile exposed on each side — a decision that looks unfinished. A custom mirror cut to 48 inches wide fills the space with an intentional, designed appearance.

The practical reasons custom beats stock:

Exact fit: Walls in Dallas-area homes — particularly older homes in Lakewood, Oak Cliff, and Lake Highlands — are rarely standard dimensions. New construction in Frisco, McKinney, and Corinth are more uniform but still benefit from custom dimensions when light fixtures, sconce spacing, or tile patterns create specific width and height constraints.

No visible gap above vanity: A properly proportioned vanity mirror should extend nearly the full width of the vanity cabinet, with 2-4 inches of clearance on each side. Stock mirrors force homeowners to either accept gaps or use a smaller mirror. Custom fabrication eliminates the choice.

Any ceiling height: Standard stock mirrors max out at 48-60 inches in height. Custom mirrors can be fabricated to 80 inches or taller for rooms with high ceilings, providing a more dramatic visual presence.

Any location: Bathroom, bedroom, living room, dining room, gym, yoga studio, dance studio, hotel lobby — custom mirrors serve any application. Stock sizes are designed specifically for standard bathroom vanities.

What Types of Custom Mirrors Does Infinity Glass Fabricate?

We fabricate five primary mirror types: vanity mirrors (bathroom), wall mirrors (any room), gym and studio mirrors (full-wall safety glass), decorative mirrors (beveled edge and custom shapes), and commercial mirrors (lobbies, retail, hospitality). Each type has different size, thickness, and edge treatment requirements.

Bathroom vanity mirrors:

  • Standard dimensions: 24-72 inches wide, 24-48 inches tall
  • Edge options: flat polish, beveled (1/4 to 1-inch bevel width), polished pencil
  • Mounting: Direct adhesive on tile or drywall, J-channel, or custom frame
  • Glass: 1/4-inch clear mirror, or low-iron mirror for superior clarity

Full-wall and large mirrors:

  • Sizes up to the maximum sheet size from our suppliers (typically 96x130 inches)
  • Larger installations use multiple mirrors with minimal or invisible seams
  • Edge options: flat polish (polished edge for visible faces), beveled for decorative effect
  • Mounting: Mirror mastic adhesive + mechanical standoffs for large panels

Gym and studio mirrors:

  • Typically 1/4-inch mirror on tempered safety glass
  • Full-height panels from floor to ceiling
  • Multiple panels installed side-by-side with tight, controlled seams
  • Commercial-grade mounting for heavy daily use

Decorative mirrors:

  • Beveled edges in 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, or 1-inch widths
  • Custom shapes available (arch tops, rectangular, octagon, custom shapes)
  • Antique or bronze-tinted mirror options for specific aesthetic applications

Commercial mirrors:

  • Hotel lobbies, retail fitting rooms, restaurant walls
  • Heavy-gauge mirror glass rated for commercial applications
  • Coordinated installation across multiple panels

How Does Custom Mirror Fabrication Work?

The custom mirror process has three stages: measurement and order, cutting and edge finishing, and installation. Most custom mirrors for residential applications are completed within 3-7 days from order to installation. Large commercial installations take longer based on complexity and panel count.

The process step by step:

1. Measure or specify dimensions: You can measure your space yourself (wall width, clearance from light fixtures, mounting height) and call or email us the dimensions. For complex installations or when you want a precise visual recommendation, we can visit for an in-home measurement.

2. Select edge profile and thickness: For most applications, 1/4-inch clear mirror with flat-polish edge is the standard. For vanity mirrors where the edges will be visible (frameless, adhesive-mounted), beveled edges add a decorative light-catching perimeter. For gym mirrors, 1/4-inch on tempered glass is the appropriate specification.

3. Cutting and edge finishing: We cut the mirror panel at our Corinth shop, then run the edges through our polishing process. Beveled edges require an additional angled polishing stage.

4. Installation: For flat-wall installations (vanity, bedroom, gym), we apply mirror mastic adhesive directly to the wall, set the mirror, and secure with J-clips or standoffs while the adhesive cures. For heavy panels, additional mechanical mounting is included.

Where Are Custom Mirrors Used in Dallas-Fort Worth Homes?

Custom mirrors are used in every room of DFW homes — not just bathrooms. The most common applications: master bathroom vanity, master bedroom wall mirror, home gym full-wall mirror, formal dining room accent mirror, and home entryway statement mirror.

Most common custom mirror applications in DFW:

Master bathrooms in Southlake and Flower Mound: Large-format vanity mirrors matched precisely to the width of double vanity cabinets, with beveled edges that catch morning light across marble countertops.

Home gyms in Frisco and McKinney: Full-wall mirror installations on one or two walls, floor-to-ceiling, for visibility during workouts. Typically 4-6 panels installed side-by-side with tight seams.

Living rooms and dining rooms in Dallas: Large rectangular or custom-shaped decorative mirrors as focal points — typically 48-96 inches wide, mounted above a credenza or fireplace.

Entry halls: Narrow vertical mirrors (12-18 inches wide, 60-72 inches tall) flanking doorways or filling the space between a front door and a closet.

Closets and dressing rooms: Full-length mirrors custom-fit to door panels, or full-wall installations in dedicated dressing rooms in larger homes.

How Much Do Custom Mirrors Cost in Dallas?

Custom mirrors in Dallas cost $6-$20 per square foot installed, with most residential vanity mirror projects running $150-$600 total (HomeGuide 2025). Large full-wall gym mirrors and commercial installations start at $800 and scale with panel count and installation complexity. Beveled edge mirror adds approximately $50-$150 to the per-project cost depending on perimeter length.

Typical project cost ranges:

  • Vanity mirror (24x36-inch, flat polish): $80-$150 material + $75-$150 installation = $150-$300 total

Why do Dallas homeowners choose custom-cut mirrors over stock sizes?

Custom mirrors fit your exact space — matching vanity width precisely, filling wall space between fixtures, or covering an entire gym wall without gaps or awkward sizing. Stock mirrors force you to choose between sizes that may be too small (leaving exposed wall) or too large (requiring cutting, which isn't possible with standard mirrors). Custom fabrication delivers the right size for every application.

What types of custom mirrors can be fabricated in Dallas?

Infinity Glass fabricates vanity mirrors, full-wall mirrors, gym and studio mirrors, decorative beveled-edge mirrors, and commercial mirrors in any size. Edge options include flat polish, beveled (1/4 to 1-inch bevel widths), and custom profiles. Frameless and framed options are both available.

How long does it take to get a custom mirror in Dallas?

Most residential custom mirrors are ready for installation within 3-7 business days from order placement. Simple single-panel vanity mirrors can sometimes be completed in 2-3 business days. Large commercial mirror installations with multiple panels take longer based on quantity and installation complexity.

How is a custom mirror installed in Dallas?

Most mirrors are installed using mirror mastic adhesive applied to the wall, with the mirror set and held in position while the mastic cures (24-48 hours). Heavy panels or floor-to-ceiling installations also receive mechanical standoffs or J-clips for additional security. All installations use non-corrosive adhesive that won't damage the mirror backing (Cardinal Glass Industries).
