Custom glass shelf installation starts with the wall, not the glass. We measure the space, work out what the shelf has to carry, order the panel to that size with finished edges, and fit it on hardware suited to the load.

Measured, then ordered
We take the dimensions on site — width, depth, and whether the walls are actually square — and order the glass to those numbers from our suppliers. Tile, plaster and old cabinets are rarely perfectly true, so a shelf sized from a tape at one end often rocks at the other.
Thickness follows the load
A shelf holding a few bottles in a shower is a different job from one carrying glassware behind a bar. Span, thickness and how far apart the supports sit decide whether it stays flat for years or bows. We size it to what you plan to put on it.
Hardware that suits the wall
Clips, standoffs and concealed channel brackets each suit a different wall and look. Tile needs a different fixing from drywall over studs, and a shower needs hardware rated for water. Hardware comes from the lines we already install, such as CR Laurence, fixed into the wall properly.

Will you come out to install just one glass shelf?
Yes. A single shelf — in a shower niche, over a toilet, or inside a pantry — is a job we take, and it gets the same measure-and-fit approach as a larger one.
Do you cut glass shelves to size while I wait?
No — we are not a walk-in cutting counter. We measure the space, order the glass to size with the edges finished, then come back and install it. That is how the shelf ends up fitting the wall rather than a tape reading.
Can I send you my own measurements for a glass shelf?
You can, and it is a good start for an estimate. For anything wall-to-wall or inside a tiled niche we confirm the numbers on site before ordering, because walls that are slightly out of square change the size the glass needs to be.
How much weight can a glass shelf hold safely?
It depends on the thickness of the glass, the span between supports and the type of bracket. Tell us what the shelf will carry — toiletries, books, bottles, retail stock — and we size the glass and hardware to that load.
